It has been a busy year so far here! After WorldCon and ArmadilloCon, I’ve been writing up a storm, which will hopefully result in new things in your hands in the relatively near future. The next Maradaine novel, An Unkindness of Circled Mages, is coming together nicely now, and I know I’ve been saying “it’ll be soon” for a bit now, but… briefly, in retrospect, I can now see the level of damage to my creative energy that was done to me in 2022 and 2023, and I needed time and work to recover from that. And I now feel so much better about doing the work now than I did two years ago.
Plus I did finish a draft of a novel written with my wife, and… it’s a draft and a new process, and it will involve a lot more work of editing and re-working, but it’s good work that I’m very excited about.
Which hopefully means real news in the coming year.
But there IS news about Maradaine things, and not just putting the new website together.
You may recall we put out new versions of the first four Maradaine Saga novels with new covers by Natania Barron. And now you can get the new editions next four novels!
We hope to have the final four for Maradaine Saga Phase One out shortly, so you’ll be able to order the entire set of twelve books in time for Christmas, for either yourself or the fantasy lover in your life.
